J'ai acheté cet article la semaine dernière. Je possède déjà le tabouret Mastercraft (dont le plateau est rouge) acheté il y a un an et je j'adore. Il est plus dispendieux mais ça vaut la peine. Au niveau de la qualité , de la sécurité et du confort, les deux tabourets ne se comparent pas. J'ai rapporté ce produit au magasin et j'ai acheté un autre Mastercraft.

My mom broke her foot and couldn't get around her apt. Got this and she wheels herself all over her apt. It's given her the ability to be independant while she heals. She puts it at its highest height when she does dishes or cooks, then lowers it and scoots from it to her lazy boy not the conventional use for a mechanics stool, but it was worth every penny to my mom!

Broke when it shouldn't

I bought this stool in October to use in my classroom. I am well below the 300 lb limit as are the children and other adults in my room. It only lasted about 5 months before the soder/weld where the seat meets the stool failed and is no longer safe to use. I am very disappointed in this product.

Failed after 18 months

The stool drops to the lowest point after 18 months of light use, 10 times to be generous. 2 stars because it still works at the lowest point but it’s also horribly uncomfortable for any length of time.

Q: Is there a weight restriction ?

  • A: I don’t know of an advertised weight restriction, but I weigh 120 kg and used the chair for 8 hours a day for about 6 days (putting in floor screws in a house).  The chair height was set with the lever and it never drooped. Hope that helps.
