The outlet tap works best on the older style outlets (round) and not the newer "Decora", (Square) outlets, as the newer outlets do not have the center screw that outlet box uses to help to hold it in place and provide a electrical ground connection

Q: My fridge power plug is angled such that i can't plug anything else. Can I just plug a fridge on one side & a rice cooker on the other side of the Wall Tap Adapter & nothing else as the outlets on each side appears to be assigned to separate receptacles

A: Hi fangsy, as long as the receptacle circuit is able to handle the fridge and rice cooker current at the same time it will be okay. This adapter connects one side to the top outlet and the other side to the bottom outlet (I confirmed this myself), but both outlets are usually wired together inside the receptacle. Therefore, regardless of where you plug the fridge and the rice cooker in this adapter the current will all come from the same receptacle, on the same circuit. The current will just flow through different outlets.

Q: Do I have to remove current socket that is in the drywall, after removing the wall socket frame? (since there is no opening, for the screw, the one poking out back side of the 6 flat wall socket, to screw into) ?

A: The frame is 120x80x40.3mm, if the tap can fit in the frame, then there is no need to remove the frame. As for the screw, product still works without it.
