    snowblower deficiency

This product requires bottom slides on each side as blades hit ground and will dig and stop machine. This product cannot pull itself forward as suggested when the paddles are turning and you must push hard. Not a product for older people as requires hard push. May do path but not with ease. This product is not as indicated and could not be operated as discribed. This machine works great with the gas engine and throws snow good distance. This product needs to have a statement clearly on it as a warning that it is only operational on pavement and similar surfaces only if slides are added for it to ride on. The product paddles will be worn off in no time with out slides to keep it up and ride on as the paddles hit the ground every turn and dig in and inhibite the ability to move forward.

    Chute is not moving

I have bought this gas snow blower from Canadian tier on 10/29 and used for the first time over last weekend for the first time. The chute is not moving and snow goes only in 1 direction i.e straight. May you please share the process to get the chute problem fixed?

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: what does the machine weigh, and is the engine a 2 stroke

    3 Answers
    • A: Close to eighty pounds? no it is a 4 stroke engine. The wheels are the worst. With all the snow we have had, it is terrible. Faster to use a shovel in the heavy stuff.

    • A: You should not use a single stage snowblower on gravel driveways. It could risk injury to others or damage the driveway. A two stage snowblower would be a better option.

    • A: Mine is fairly tight & takes some force to rotate. I just checked it. Make sure it's assembled correctly. The exploded diagram for reference is here... https://apps.mecanair.net/techniques/i20500/dt1/f113788.jpg Also remember if you just bought it, it has a 2 year warranty...

Q: I can't figure out how to put on the discharge chute. it should be able to move correct? From the picture online it looks as if they took the round covering off but the directions don't show that.

    • A: Yes, but when I first assembled, I did it wrong. I had the chute sideways. I did not have the chute facing forward with the handle to the rear. I took it apart and reinserted the 3 screws. Hope this helps you. Mine works great now after using 3 times since January.
