This is the third product I have recently purchased by this manufacturer. The first was the gas powered lawnmower. The equipment performs admirably and I strongly recommend it to date. The second piece is a 20 volt 4 hour battery operated leaf blower that delivers an impressive 400 CFM. The third piece is the grass trimmer 2.0Ah replacing an older corded trimmer.

A: According to page 21 of the product manual: "To reload nylon string trimmer line, use either 0.065” (1.65 mm) diameter bulk trimmer line or purchase pre-wound replacement spools. These can be purchased through most lawn and garden retailers."

Q: How does the Automatic line replenishment system will replace a worn line conveniently ? Looks like you have to turn it upside down and push the button which makes it manual . How is it automatic ?

A: Hello Joe 2! I am happy to answer any questions you may have about the Certified 20V Cordless Line Grass Trimmer, 12-in. This trimmer has an auto feed system which means whenever you start and stop the tool, about 1/4" of line will be extended. It also has a manual feed system which is the small button on the spinning head next to the outlet for the line. Each time you press this button about 1/4" of line will be extended. -GraceJ

Q: How to convert trimmer to edger? There is no knob, turning it manually is hard.

A: You have to step on the guard with your foot and force the knob to turn 90 degrees using the handle. If your still unsure, check out the Worx cordless trimmer video on YT unboxing video. Its a similar product.

A: This is a lithium ion battery with built-in safeguards to prevent overcharging. Once it is fully charged, it will just maintain the charge. It takes 5hrs to fully charge a dead battery.
