Corrodes into little tiny bits. Lasted two years - used once a week max from May-September.

This flame tamer is OEM. The last one corroded so badly in 1 year that I sucked it up with a shop vac. I agree with the other review, it will work for one year max before rusting to pieces.

Will not last

This flame tamer works great, but quickly corrodes. This becomes a bi annual replacement item, which can only be replaced with old fashion bricks with modification. The concept of a flame tamer is great, but the choice of materials for the application is very unfortunate. A ceramic would have worked perfectly and lasted much longer than aluminized steel.

No, I do not recommend this product.
