Excellent for spotting when target shooting you can see very clearly right out to 250 yds. Rubber protection boots don't fit very well but that doesn't affect the optics.

We bought this pair of binoculars for casual astronomy usage. While Celestron does make binoculars for astronomy, most are larger and heavier. We were advised that our first instrument should be either a 7 x 50 or a 10 x 50 pair of binoculars with fully coated BAK 4 lenses which these binoculars have. I may get either a larger pair later or get a refractor telescope with tripod, but in the meantime, these binoculars will help us (My family) learn how to locate various stars and planets. These binoculars do not have eye cups which is perfect for us as we all wear glasses and I found that once you have these binoculars focused, they stay focused even after passing them around. The image is crisp and clean and while I haven't had an opportunity yet to view the moon, I imagine the view will be spectacular. The case, while made of cloth, is well padded and does the job of protecting these already very robust binoculars from damage. I am very pleased with the quality of these binoculars.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Excellent Deal for the Price

I looked at these in store after the holidays and was immediately impressed by the quality and clarity. Usually I have to mess around with the focus and eye relief on binoculars but these were probably the best I've ever picked up in terms of how quick and clear they were. I was so impressed that, because they were on sale, I bought two pairs (one for a gift). When I took them and showed them to a friend, he bought a pair the next day. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the cheap cary case, But love the integrated flip-down caps at one end and pop up cups at the other as well as the sturdy strap. the 10 x 50 view is amazing! Just need to field test them now.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
