Bell doesn't work in the cold

Good: Strap fits large diameter handle bars Bell is loud enough for folks to hear you on bike path (but not too loud) Compact size fits well on handlebars with gears, lights and electronics Stays in place Rubber strap wont scratch bars Bad: Plastic hammer stiffens and does not "spring" enough to ring bell (when its cold - below 8 Celsius)

It is not a good bell -I returned the 1st one because the ring was nonexistent. The 2nd one is no better I threw it in the trash . Would not buy again
