Fly Jar Attractant

This little packet smells disgusting, but it works. After a couple of days in the container it has drastically decreased the amount of flies in my backyard.

I put this around my compost bin and it the jar filled up with flies. It works great and it's reduced the number of flies around the yard!!!

Q: how long does it last? How many days before I have to throw it out?

2 Answers

A: Short Ans. It lasts 2-3 months before it needs to be refreshed. Mixed with water and hung 20ft or more from where you want to keep flies away. The longer it sits it begins to ferment and the aroma attracts the flies. I usually wait until it looks like blueberry soup, lots of flies and little water. Then I start over with a fresh batch.

Q: Will this work indoors for phroid flies?

A: Hi Miles, thank you for your inquiry and although the trap attractant is non-toxic our trap is recommend to be used outdoors as the attractant in the trap has a strong odor and may not be suitable for indoors. If you have any further questions please contact us directly at info@catchmaster.com
