Very efficient for me

Bought a set of Victor traps which don't hold. They snap your fingers even before you put them down ! Bought these that I had bought before and caught 2 mice in 2 days under my kitchen sink. Going out to buy more today.

got a few of these traps used then in my garage never caught anything used then in the house caught two mice the got badly injured and got out of the trap. I had to find then in my house and finish the job myself.

Crappiest Trap Ever!

Was forced to buy a 4 pack of these traps as we were told after a 30 minute wait, the Victor traps we were there to purchase were in storage and inaccessible (CT's website showed the Victor traps were in stock!). Anyway, we baited these traps with peanut butter then low and behold...... we found we had purchased mouse feeders and not traps. Save your money, skip this product..... one star rating as we couldn't give no stars.

There are two possible sensitivity settings for the trigger, a firm setting and a sensitive setting that are marked on the yellow trigger, F on the left hand side and S on the right hand side. They work, sometimes

I have used these traps at home where we sometimes have deer mice (bigger/heavier mice) entering the garage and finding their way in our basement, and they're good at catching them, however once I had to finish the mouse as the bar failed to kill it and it was still able to move despite being stuck on the trap, so I assumed it was in pain for at least a few hours.
At work we have the common house mouse running around, which is a smaller species and they are very good at licking off the peanut butter without triggering anything. I have more success when I just fill up the little square "container" as per the instructions, I believe most people just put peanut butter on the yellow plate which makes it easy for a smaller rodent to lick it off without triggering it. Still, it's not perfect, when I try to make a hair trigger the pressure from the holder pin pushes the yellow trigger part upwards...
Those are easier to setup than the ones from Victor with the metal bait holder, but they won't trigger as easily, so I prefer the older style for a quick and efficient kill.
