TOO GOOD
I bought this pump 4.5 years ago, because it had a 5-year warranty, in the hopes that meant that it was of good quality and would last more than a year. It's still doing a great job through the spring floods. I want to buy a new one to replace it before next winter, but I guess it was too good, because CT has discontinued it!

Had the regular style sump pump and replaced it with this one. Takes only seconds to drain the sump pit. First use blew the hose off the outlet outside !

Q: Can I adjust the Pump to Turn on sooner?
I would like it to cut in when the water is more shallower. the way my sump is set up it cant reach that high of a level

A: The float switch cannot be adjusted to turn the pump on sooner. It is designed at the optimum position so the pump can cycle on/off less frequently thus extending the life of the pump. If the basin is not deep enough to accommodate the pump and it’s required water level we would recommend installing a new sump basin to mitigate any risk of over flow.

Q: WHat is the flow rate when operating
If my pit fills at 10 litres / min, can this pump clear water at that rate? What is the flow rate that this pump can produce? I need to lift the water only 24".
2 Answers
A: The posted answer "10L/min = 60L/hr=15 USG/hr"
is a mistake. Where I live, most hours have 60 minutes, so 10L/min x 60min/h = 600 L/h. = 160 USG/h.
The good news is the pump can still easily handle it!

Q: Can I use this pump to empty a hit tub? Is there a duty cycle limit that would prevent this?
2 Answers
A: Turn off the tub and let it sit a day. I drain mine into the pool every spring. the pumps arent ment to do hot water but if you let it sit a day before you drain it it shouldnt be a problem.

A: Unfortunately this pump is too wide to fit inside this hole however 062-3535 should fit.
