    Bought this so we could hear both the front and back doors when we are downstairs, IT HAS NEVER WORKED.

    Do not buy this!

    Unit will not work through doors! The button will sound intermittently inside but as soon as I move it one inch outside (still within 10 feet of the receiver) it won't work. Biggest waste of money. Unfortunately I lost the receipt and the packaging was turfed so I can't return this item. It will follow the packaging - right into the garbage.

    As the title says "biggest piece of junk I have ever bought". Works sometimes when the push buttons are right next to the bell. Mounted outside the door forget about it !!! On my way to return it now.

    This is what you should buy if you want to throw away your money on some useless garbage. The units work when they feel like it. Some times one will work, other times the other onw does. They RARELY both work. If you can get them to work, you do need 2 units since the volume is not very loud. Don't waste your money on this gabage, that is where my unit is heading. I had to remove the outside button. At least that way people will knock and not "ring" and leave assuming no one is home. I don't even want to rate it as a "1" but you can't rate them as ZERO which is what this deserves. A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY
