Crumbled mess.

I bought this table 3 years ago. The first two seasons we loved it. This winter it started to crumble. Despite being covered and protected. It is falling apart and is now a useless eyesore on our patio. It was a significant investment and a gift to my husband. Very disappointed and Canadian tire will not do anything.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Same as other reviews - table is crumbling

I’ve had this table for 2 years now. After the first winter, it crumbled/cracked a bit, so we patched it up to work good enough for the next season after warranty inquiries went nowhere. The second winter we were extra careful to make sure there were absolutely no leaks or chances for snow to get in, and it’s even worse than before. The coating they use is just not suitable for outdoor use, even though propane fire tables are only safe for use outdoors. The burner was also inconsistent and takes 30-45 seconds of clicking to get going, so even that function isn’t great, and I’m guessing the starter will fail soon too. The product looked great on day one, but absolutely not worth buying. I’m not even going to bother adding photos because it looks the exact same as all the rest of the reviews here. Product should be recalled.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Known defective product. Falls apart after warranty ends

Similar to the other reviews this table is decaying. Even with proper winter protection in place this table is crumbling.

Again same as the review below, I bought this table 2 years ago and it fell apart.
I tarped the table each winter to keep it clean and dry and I just discovered that the outer material broke away, I haven't even touched it yet because I'm worried it will just crumble. It's just ridiculous that this is an outdoor fireplace and after 2 years it like this. It's not like you can bring in it for the winter. Frustrated!!
We spoke to Canadian Tire and there was nothing they can do. Very disappointed.

Fell apart

Much like the review below, I bought this table 2 years ago and it fell apart.
I tarped the table each winter to keep it clean and dry and I just discovered that the outer material broke away and the insides are a wet sand like material. Each time I touch it to try and clean it up more breaks away.
It’s completely ruined.
We spoke to Canadian Tire and there was nothing they can do. Very disappointed.

Q: Given that this fire table is so heavy, can it be left outside and covered with a heavy duty tarp or vinyl cover (like you would a gas BBQ) for the winter months?
