This unit was easy to assemble. I love that it is actual wood and not "wood product with laminate wood detail". It's perfect in my daughter's room and would be great in a living room as well.

Factory drilled holes misaligned on one shelf

Spent 2 hours (lots of screws, pin etc) to put this bookcase together. Paid close attention to the instructions to ensure all was properly done. Everything fit well except for shelf labelled #7 - the 2nd from the top. Unfortunately, the predrilled holes did not align exactly and ended up splitting the shelf on both ends. There are also some darker and lightly (almost missed) stained parts of the bookcase Very disappointed by the qualtiy control.
