I bought this tree during the December 2016 Boxing Day sale and put it away for the next Christmas. I wanted a lighter weight tree because I am a senior living by myself and hate to be constantly asking my son to help me do things so thought this is perfect because I can put it in the living room myself, which I did last year. I was happy that I read the reviews about the weight of the base, and yes it is heavy and could easily fall off the stem. The top of the tree is very poorly made. Anyway put the tree up by myself for Christmas 2017 and it was pretty when trimmed. After the holiday I took it out of the canvas covered stand, carried it to my downstairs storage room, reassembled it and covered it with a sheet of plastic. Perfect. Now the problem today!!! Tried to lift the tree out of the stand to carry it upstairs. My plan was first the stand and then the tree. I could not get it out of the stand. Laid it down on the floor and as soon as I pulled on it, the center rod did not come out of the stand but actually broke apart. I couldn't believe what happened. Found my sales slip and of course the warranty is expired. A tree used one season and it is completely broke off. Not being physically strong, I can assure you I wouldn't have the strength to break it and certainly this tree has not suffered any abuse. Now I have to buy another one which really is not included in my budget this year. Very, very disappointed and upset.

I love this tree! It is realistic looking, easy to set up, and the lights look great! I know some reviews talked about how it is difficult to put a star on the top - I just bent over some of the top branches to make them thicker and this held the star up easily :). Excited to put this tree up again this year!

The quality of the CANVAS Pre-Lit Berkeley Fir Tree, 7-ft wasn't good so I returned the tree and purchased a Colorado changing light tree instead.

La base était brisée en l'achetant. La base qui doit être lourde pour stabiliser l'arbre est comme un cylindre en terre cuite creuse. Ce qui lui donne une certaine fragilité.

Q: How many replacement bulbs are supposed to come with this tree?

A: Please note that there is a total of 20 replacement bulbs included with this tree. Please note that there is a small bag with a few spare bulbs tied to each light string, and there are about 5 light strings within the tree.

Q: top section of lights stopped working on day 3 I bought and assemblied the tree on Sunday. This morning (Tuesday) the top section of the lights has stopped working. Is this one of those strings when one light goes out they all do? If so, how do you figure out which one it is?

A: The light string will continue to work if one bulb is burnt out. If the whole strand is unlit, check the fuse in the light string. Replacement fuses are included.

Q: What are the dimensions of the tree? It cannot be 48" in diameter. The box cannot be nearly 10 ft long. I think it's not correct.
