1000 sq ft?

1000 sq ft claim is a lie. Can barely maintain temperature of space <400 sq ft. Had to open heater unit and tighten screws to stop vibrating noise. Overall not bad but barely worth the sale price and heating capability is only satisfactory for a small space.

Got it for my wife for Christmas. Took me about 2 hours to assemble. Not difficult, like any other furniture with cam-locks. Doors lined up pretty good with little adjustment. Insert looks great. Wife is happy.

Nice unit!

So far so good! Took about 2-3 hours to put together on my own. So far, seems like good quality. Nice and sturdy! We mainly bought it for the looks and flame as we have a wood furnace so we didnt use the heater much nor do we plan to, but it works! The flame is also quite nice with different brightness settings. We keep ours on the brightest settings all the time. Overall.. Very happy with the purchase!

A: Yes. The fireplace insert will turn on when the temperature drops below the set temperature. It will heat the room, but is not intended to heat the whole house.
