Not a good purchase

The light only stays on for an hour or so. I have the solar panel in a very sunny area but its very weak. Already discarded the box and receipt so I burn. Do not purchase

This is the second one I have bought. First one didnt work at all. Second one only stays lit for 2 hours
After being in full sunlight all day.

I found it useless...

Sadly i had to return this lamp. It is really nice, good weight, great size, and attractive.
I could not get it to keep a charge though. It's solar, which is what I wanted because I don't have an outlet where I wanted to put it. I tried it for about a week and no go. Would not stay lit for any length of time.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Solar lamp won't charge. The film looks like it is removed but still a thick clear plastic on top. Does the setting have to be turned off to charge?

A: In order to charge the batteries for your lamp you need to have your lamp turned on and have it charge for at least 15 sunlight hours. This will charge your batteries. If you may have further questions or concerns please call customer service at 1866-897-2098.

Q: Lamp on flickers once and doesn't come on? Beautiful lamp nice and sturdy. I turn it on and it flicks once and that's it. Any suggestions.

A: This issue maybe caused by any probable reasons as below: 1. Battery may not be making contact with terminal. 2. Battery is not fully charged. Be sure the light is in a sunny location where it can receive the maximum amount of full and direct sunlight every day. If the light does not receive enough sunlight during any given day (e.g. dueto cloudy or overcast weather conditions), it will be recharged on the next sunny day and resume normal operation. Keeping the panel clean is equally important to ensure maximum charge. 3. The light is installed too close to other light sources, such as streetlights, porch lights, or other solar lights. Relocate or eliminate other light sources. You can call customer service at 1-866-827-4985 for further assistance and troubleshooting.

Q: Our Lakeside Lamp does not work. No protective film on solar panel. Left in the direct light for 2 days but the lamp didn't come on. Switch positn?

A: This light uses 1 pc 400 mAh LiFePO4 14430 Battery, CTC carries this battery, SKU# is 052-4774. Please note this uses a battery that is bigger than regular AA NiCd battery.

Q: How do these work; there are no instuctions with the lamps except for the hang tag. I purchased two of these lamps. Turned them on to the 8 hour setting. They were out all day at this setting and in the evening the light came on. The next evening they did not come back on; what did I do wrong?

A: 1) Make sure the protective film on the solar panel is removed 2) Make sure the light is in a spot where it will receive direct sunlight for at least 5 hours during the day If it is receiving direct sunlight, and the film is removed, it should come on at night.

Q: What is the return/exchange policy on these? The shade appeared to be secure to the lamp. As soon as we got to the car it got turned upside down and the shade came off and shattered. What is the exchange/return policy for something like this?
