Defective product

Out of the entire strand of lights (which you have to assemble yourself), only TWO bulbs were working. Highly disappointed in the quality. Usually one or two bulbs don't work (and you use the replacements if you have); but all BUT two are not working?!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Lights don't fit

The lights they include are too wide and don't screw into the sockets far enough.

Q: If you purchased 2 or 3 sets, can they be strung together?

A: I believe you can, they are under 200 watts each set (175 watts?). I have three coming out of one outlet no issue but they are not strung together as the each have their own extension cord to different areas of the deck into a single three port remote controlled outdoor on/off switch.

A: Thank you for your question, the unit can used outdoors on a balcony 24/7, however please be mindful of how the units are installed. These are incandescent bulbs and will get hot.

Q: Hi I recently purchased these string lights and it's my second time turning them on. I paired them with an outdoor smart plug and when turned on, the first bulb went out with a pop sound. With rain, is this normal to happen so early usage?

A: I've had two sets of the CANVAS Montmarte Heavy-Duty Outdoor String Lights used outdoors seasonally since last year. One set on a photocell timer running about 2 hours nightly, the other set plugged in when needed. My installations are semi-permanent insofar as they are not moved/transported around. I've thus far not needed to replace any of the bulbs.
