CANVAS Monte Low Profile Umbrella Base

I bought this Canvas Umbrella Base Oct 1, 2025. Richmond Hill, Silver Linden Drive Canadian Tire. Overall great product. Works great with the Canvas Market Umbrella that I picked up same day. The problem I have is that the included tightening knob is M12x60 mm. This is way too long and sticks out of the pipe. Canadian Tire Ruturns and The CANVAS company gave me the run around. They did not accept returns and were of no help. Anyways, if you purchase this product expect to purchase the M12x30mm star knob. It doesn't stick out as much. After testing it out maybe even the M12x20mm star knob would have been better. The point of this review is that it is not the customers responsibility to fix manufacturing defects. Rant over.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It is a nice design, it works in small storms but in larger ones with high wind, I wouldn't recommend having the umbrella open. It's sleek and functional and I haven't come across any issues with it.
