Very poorly dedigned

This is a terribly ill constructed bench. It looks like a nice simple bench, easy to put together? Wrong! The mechanics as such make it impossible to screw the legs to the base. It is a standard Philips screw driver, but it just doesn’t click. Very poorly conceived design. Regret being stuck with this.

Badly Made

Liked the look and size of this bench, so I ordered it for my back entryway. Upon attempting to put it together, I discovered that the hardware is so poorly made that it is impossible to screw into the bench pieces. The indentations for tools on the screw heads are badly formed and although I tried several drill bits and manual screw drivers, and several different screws, nothing worked--the screwdrivers all slipped and could not grip in order to turn. These are basic Phillips heads, so nothing unusual or complicated. Very disappointing!

No, I do not recommend this product.
