for the price, the quality and ease of installation, I can only recommend this beautiful light! with a led multicolor lightbulb, it really changes the atmosphere of the room! Don't listen to negative and illogical comments, this light will brighten your day and your night

Looks great but challenging to install

We love the look of this light in our foyer. And the open design allows for heat dissipation from LED bulbs, which is good for their longevity. But the unconventional mounting hardware assumes that the electrical box is perfectly flush with the drywall, which is seldom the case. Alignment of the side screws into the holes in the supporting bracket is impossible unless one designs some kind of hack to secure the mounting bracket flush with the ceiling. In our case we cut a hole in the center of a plastic furniture glider (for the cabling) and placed it between the mounting bracket and the electrical box.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I love this perfectly sized light - not too big or too small for the kids room. But adds a lot of character to the space. It lights perfectly and looks so beautiful.

Timeless and beautiful

My husband and I installed the CANVAS Clavet 1-Light Flush Mount Ceiling Light with Opal Glass Shade in Brushed Gold after being graciously gifted it.
I absolutely love the simple design. One thing thats always important to me when installing anything in our home is that it should be timeless and something we want to keep long-term. This light hits all those marks.
I do have one complaint: the base fits perfectly to the electrical box, which, if you've ever installed a light, you know can be a huge pain. This means you cant have any gaps in your drywall, and we did. It was a simple fix for us, but we've never had this problem before because the bases are usually big enough to cover any gaps.
Other than that, it was easy to install. Just make sure your mudding and drywall are perfect right up to your electrical box.
