This purchase did not meet my expectations. The quality of the table is low, it does not look like the picture at all and the top is made up of patches of wood glued together.

Il faut être bricoleur pour l'assembler

J'ai acheté et assemblé cet article hier: les trous d'assemblage des vis ne concorde pas entre les pièces, certains trous sont trop petits, il faut les agrandir, certaines pièces sont mal alignées entre elles.... j'ai monté plusieurs meubles dans ma vie, j'ai rarement vue une aussi piètre qualité de préassemblage. Ceci dit, si vous êtes prêt à bricoler un peu, le résultat final est ok.

Q: Can you drill a hole to fit an umbrella in this table?

A: Hi Jjennings, A hole can be drilled into this table in order to make an umbrella fit but it is not recommend as there should be more support where the hole is drilled. My recommendation would be to purchase an offset cantilever umbrella at Canadian Tire. Drilling a hole will also void the warranty which is another reason why I wouldn't recommend it.

Q: Can you stain this table? I want to darken the colour.

A: Hi AmyE, Yes, you can stain this table to make it darker. Please note that this should be done once a year to help maintain the darker colour as the sun will cause it to fade as this is a natural property of wood. I hope this helps!
