Poor quality

I bought this a little over a year ago and the drawers always were off.... now one can't even be used at all.. falls off the track everytime I open it. Very poor quality.... looks nice though in my dinning room. For the amount I paid though, I expected better

Complicated

The most complicated thing to put together. You thought ikea was bad. I bought this tho king it was a nice cheap price of furniture.
It’s cheap, and the wine shelving is a nightmare to put together, it all fell apart while putting together, and all the little Dowling prices broke, and broke the cheap particle board shelving. I had to get a drill bit, pre drill holes and use wood screws to hold it together. As well as wood glue.
Don’t waste your money!

I bought on sale this a month ago, and I love it. Holds 18 bottles of wine and is really sturdy. Took a while to assemble but worth it. Don't rush and get someone to help you.

Looks Nice, Feels Solid

I really like the look of this wine cabinet and it does feel like decent quality. It is a very nice painted grey finish. However, I am not a fan of the "wood look" top. It looks very fake, as do the pieces of wood in the wine holder area. I don't like how it looks with the different type of wood in the wine bottle area.
I am pretty happy with the finished product....but, this was the most difficult piece of furniture I have ever put together. A couple pieces did not have the holes pre-drilled, which was quite frustrating. But luckily I was able to drill them out myself. Also, it was extremely awkward putting the wine bottle section together. After struggling with it for a while, I took the entire thing apart and started again, making sure to wood glue every dowel, and some of the unfinished wood joints. I started with the wine area to give the glue a chance to dry while I assembled the rest. This was MUCH EASIER to put together. It also resulted in a much sturdier finished product. If you buy this, I would definitely recommend using wood glue in the assembly

I am happy with this product - I find it sturdy and very useful in the kitchen. I attached some wheels to the bottom as I am quite tall. Note that the box is VERY heavy, dont try to carry it yourself.
I can understand why people find it hard to assemble, but if you take your time its not that difficult. Make sure to BE PATIENT or you will easily strip the screw heads. I ended up stripping one or two, until I slowed down.
Bought on clerance, so very happy with product.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Inner dimensions To use the cabinet as a TV storage unit, what are the inner dimensions: If the vertical supports are removed from the top half of wine shelves, would the horizontal shelves be able to hold up a 17" DVD player?

A: The vertical supports are what hold the horizontal shelves in place, except for the middle shelf that is also held in place by cam bolts/cams. Removing the other shelves/supports would be possible but the remaining middle shelf would likely be too flimsy to support something heavy. And the bottom of the unit would show holes where dowels are supposed to be inserted. The shelf would be 17.5" wide and 17" inches deep.
