      Works for me.

I use this compressor at home with a variety of tools. It does the job just fine. It is a bit noisy when it runs but the specs. say 84 db so that is what I should expect. I'm going to cage it with egg cartons so the dog doesn't run away every time. Some people think that 85db for 8 hours can cause hearing damage. So I wear ear plugs when I'm inside. Besides, it only runs a few minutes at a time anyway.

      Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: ok will this work for an air grinder 90 psi continous? I want to do autobody work with this, grinding and painting

      • A: When you buy an air power tool, it has a running SCFM number which the compressor SCFM must match or exceed. It's like trying to fill a bucket with water with a 1/2 inch hose and having a 3/8 inch hole in the bucket. Eventually the hose will fill the bucket but if you have a 3/4 inch hole in the bucket you'll never be able to fill it. If you plan to run the tool continuously you will need a compressor that exceeds the power tools requirements. Compare the tool and compressor SCFM numbers.

Q: i need 40 cfm continuous what size do I need

      1 Answer
      • A: Canadian Tire does not carry a compressor large enough to provide 40 CFM – you would need upwards of an 80-125 gallon tank and 15 HP (as a starting point). The largest compressor Canadian Tire has is 80 Gallons with 5.2 HP which offers 13.5 CFM.

Q: Am I able to run two pieces of equipment simutaneously with this unit @80psi each? Thanks.

      1 Answer
      • A: Yes, generally speaking two tools could be used with this compressor but it would depend on the frequency of use. For example: if you are rotating tires on your car in your garage, you could use this compressor to run two guns. However, if we were in a tire shop and using guns all day long it would not be suitable.
