Recommending a 5 hp compressor for this 250 lb/ft impact is nonsense,
the most you can draugh from a 11O V socket is 2hp,a true 5HP would need a 3 phase panel. .
A 2hp pancake compressor would be just fine for home use .But keep in mind that 250lb/ft is very,very low for a 1/2 inch impact

Do NOT Buy

Bought this a couple of years ago. Got to use the gun once then it stopped working. Then tried the wrench and it didn't work at all. Unfortunately out of warranty - complete waste of money. Bought an electric impact gun and it works beautifully without the hassles of an air compressor, oil etc.
No, I do not recommend this product.

as usual I have found yet another tool built to a big-box store spec. if you believe it's a great deal, you would be wrong!!! you can purchase C.H. air tools of the same model #'s of high quality, but, you will pay for it... buy, SNAP-ON...

Q: Impact wrench wont work properly i have an 8lb compressor (058-9316). This impact gun doesn't remove or tighten anything at the highest setting of 4. I'm just trying to loosen lug nuts on my car wheels SHOULD I RETURN THE AIR KIT ? PLEASE ADVISE
