Avoid poorly built. All the zippers WILL fail

Garbage. the zipper pulls are all too thin. They will all eventually break if you use the zippers enough.

We bought the set in 2005 on sale and have used them since all the time for flight travel, car travel , camping , everything and it holds up GREAT. All the zippers are still working after 8 years of heavy use. The only thing is that the plastic on the inside is now starting to break - but after 8 years!! I will replace it with the same kind again.

doesn't hold up in Cuban Airports

I bought this product on special last year. I used it once in January 2013. The large suitcase ripped probably due to rough handling by the airport attendants but still the material should not have ripped the way it did. Not thoroughly impressed. As another reviewer stated...good for car travel, not flights though. Too bad too because I really like the sizes and colour and style.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: More specific dimensions of luggage?? I would like to know what the dimensions are for; the 18 pilot case and the 21 piece of luggage are. Carry on sizes limited to 45 inches with most airlines. Thanks.

A: The 21” as well as the 18’ are both flight legal items. The measurements are as follows: 18” Upright: 13.5”L x 7”W x 18”H 21” Upright: 14.5”L x 8”W x 21”H

Q: How can I get the chemically smell out of the lugggage??? The luggage is a great value but it smells so highly of chemicals that I don't want to put anything in it. I have aired it out, used febreeze, fabric softener sheets, and even wiped it down... nothing seems to help. Any suggestions?

A: The manufacturer advised the chemical smell would come from the PE boards within the set, and unfortunately did not provide further direction on how to remove the smell.
