Q: Hi, Why does it offer 305mm and 328mm rear rotor diameter when entering my vehicle info ( 2014 caravan sxt plus 3.6L) ? Can I pick either? My front rotors are vented dual piston calipers, where my rear ones are solid -single piston calipers.

    • A: your front brakes do more of the stopping that the rears. So you need better brakes on the fron.

    • A: You can take the rotors and pads off and go to the store for warranty purposes, or buy new and replace, then bring old stuff back to the store for a credit.

Q: Bough these rotors (C26386) the other day and found only the outside is painted with "ArmorCoat". Inner hub surface is bare metal. Is that right? Pictures on the web show both outer and inner sides coated as one would expect!

Q: 2015 ford escape SE AWd..what size front rotor?.. it gives me 2 options, 300mm or 320mm??

    2 Answers
    • A: Looking online it appears 320 for AWD, 300 for FWD. I'd suggest checking your old ones, though tricky to measure. About 3/4" difference diameter. They would not be interchangeable.

Q: My car is 2014 Mitsubishi Rvr, Oem 16inch tire size but when I bought the car, it is 17inch tire size, so is this possible to fit in my car?

    2 Answers
    • A: If the rotor is indicated as appropriate for your vehicle, the tire/rim size between 16 and 17" should not matter. Sizes like that are often alternated between summer and winter tires, with the winter tires being mounted on smaller rims. (What is significant is that the size Profile of the tires should enable the tire circumference to be close to matching, so the speedometer is not thrown off.) Brake rotors generally are the same for various models unless one is a significantly more powerful option, like a "Sport" model.
