Seems nice at first, but quality asking for more

Bought one for myself, used for couple of times during summer camping. Was ok at first, than started to lose air very fast .... half way to the night I was finding myself flat on the ground. ( Both valves were closed tight ) Brought it back to the store for exchange .... though maybe that one was defective. At the same time bought one more for my wife. We used them both one camping .... was good. Second camping trip, one of them split at the pillow area and developed a big bubble. Taking that one back to the store .... last exchange and LAST chance for this brand. Overall, VERY not satisfied with the quality. Not worth the price at all !!!

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Comfy but heavy

I have two of these, about two years old now, still good. These are way too heavy for backpacking, but if you are car camping, and you want a really thick and comfortable pad, this is pretty much the thickest pad I have ever seen. When we are at home we lie on the pool with it. Great flotation, very nice to float around on the pool. All in all, very good value. The straps are not unbreakably attached to the pad, so be cafeful with how you tighten the straps.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Own 4

These mattresses are perfect for camping. I had old Kelty ones before and these are way thicker and comfortable. I currently own 4 and will be purchasing a 5th as soon as I can find inventory. The straps did however rip off 2 of the mattresses, but it did not affect the performance of the mattress. For someone who understands that this is not an air mattress, but a sleep pad, I would highly recommend this product.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Well made lower end sleeping pad

Its no where near top of the line, but for the price point its pretty good. There are better higher end ones out there, but if someone is on a budget and wants a functional sleeping pad, this is ideal. The one downside for me is the size of it, when its packed away. Id suggest blowing it up a bit yourself, but that takes less than a minute or two. when you inflate it make sure you leave one valve closed off, then blow into the 2nd. Ive used this pad well over 50 times (Spring/summer/fall and winter) and have had no issues with its performance what so ever.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: Deflation I purchased a Woods self-inflating sleeping pad. I misplaced the directions. How do I deflate it?

    • A: You open the valve and slowly roll it up while you squeeze the air out. Or, what I do, is open the valve and suck the air out with vacuum cleaner. Only takes a few seconds. Close the valve, roll it up.
