Tent for 2 people, impossible.

I am 5'3" 110lb and could not fit in this tent by myself, let alone have the second person in it, nor my stuff. I bought it on sale, knowing I was going camping at the end of August. I took it back today, I dared the one manager to get into it, he refused but he did help me close it as I could not. It was too late to get a refund as I did not check it out before camping at the end of August. DO NOT PURCHASE this tent if you are one, let alone 2 people. Especially if you are larger than a dwarf!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Great to set up but small

If you need a quick setup and take down this cant be beat. Literally just toss it and it is set up. Is a small tent though. Two of us was tight and need to kneel down but it is what it is. Only meant for two.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Solid, Easy to Use Tent

Recently reviewed this tent for my website. Its a fun little tent that basically sets itself up. I experienced heavy rain the first time I used it and it basically saved our gear from getting soaked. I always pack 2 small poly tarps in the bag too - one as a ground sheet, and one as extra cover if needed. Practice taking it down by watching the video, once you get the hang of it its easy! No engineering degree required!

Yes, I recommend this product.

I like it

I bought this tent 4 years ago and use it about 3 to 10 days a year in rain, wind and sun. So far so good without any problem. Setting up is really less than a minute and taking it down needs a bit of practice and then it would be less than a minute too. Too big for hike and back country and does not fit in a suitcase, so you cannot fly it anywhere! But overall I am happy with the purchase.

Yes, I recommend this product.

  • A: You cannot fit it in a suitcase for sure. You can pack it as oversize but may break during handling

Q: How waterproof is it? I was just wondering if this is waterproof? and if so how waterproof is it?

  • A: The tent has a fly and seam seals. It's built about as well as any other $99 tent: it'll keep you dry for a night of mild rain, but in heavy weather you are going to want to pack an extra tarp for cover.

Q: Are you able to buy replacement parts? One of the tent poles recently broke and I am hoping that there is a less costly alternative than having to buy a new tent.

  • A: There are some 'universal fit' tent parts available at your local Canadian Tire store.
