Our Elite Filter is certified to reduce lead, chlorine (taste & odor), mercury, cadmium, benzene, asbestos, Class 1 particulates, and more from municipally treated tap water. In addition, it removes less than 5% of fluoride from drinking water over the life of the filter. Q: My brita ultramax will not fill up much further past there the filter dispenses out. This sort of defeats the purpose of having a bigger jug, as now half the clear canister is empty. Anyone have this issue?
