Brita elite pitcher

I was given a gift of the Brita elite pitcher by the city workers who worked on our water lines. So I thought I'd try it out. I think it was a very nice jester of the City. However I couldn't really tell the difference by taste. I just want to be honest about this.

Brita Elite is awesome

I've been using Brita Elite for a year now and I live in a house made in 1964 so the water tastes pretty awful. When I started using Brita Elite,I immediately noticed a big difference in the way the water tastes. It went from tasting awful to tasting clean and crisp. I'm very glad I decided to give Brita Elite a try and I'll be using it a long time.

Terrible fit for dispenser

Super disappointed. I read the instructions beforehand and ordered this filter for our dispenser and it did not fit correctly. Water was clearly not being filtered and was just running right through the gaps. Didn’t have this problem with the other basic filter.

Filter Life Span is Misleading

I've used Brita standard filters for decades and never had a problem. These Elite filters are advertised to last 6 months but barely lasted 3 weeks. After the 3rd week, the filtration process slowed to barely a couple of drops an hour (probably just seepage). I tried all the tricks on the internet to get the filter to work again, but with no success. This is very disappointing to me for Brita to advertise these Elite filters in such a misleading way. Won't purchase again and I wish I could get my money back.
