Keep tap water healthier and tasting better for longer with Brita Longlast Pitcher Replacement Filters. These filters are made with pleated filter technology for longer life compared to standard Brita filters. Like all Brita filters, they are made to remove harmful substances from your drinking water, like mercury or lead. The pull top cap on these filters makes insertion and removal easy, while the filters themselves are effective with up to six month of regular use.
BPA-free and lasts up to six months, approximately three times longer than standard Brita filters
Reduces lead, mercury, asbestos, cadmium and additional contaminants (substances reduced may not be in all users’ water)
One Longlast filter can replace as many as 900 standard 500ml water bottles
Longlast is compatible with all standard Brita Pitchers

Elite filter is disappointing. It doesn't fit.

The Elite filter does not fit correctly. I have an older Brita dispenser (larger than the current UltraMax) but I could change filters with no issues (I always buy several boxes of filters at a time; they used to be a darker blue colour). With the Elite model, water passes through quickly and doesn't get filtered. I bought two two-filter boxes. A waste of money.

This filter doesn't fit correctly.

The Elite Brita filter does not stay in place. I tried pressing on it when I filled the container but it still does not fit properly, so the water is not getting filtered. I've never had this problem with the previous Brita filters. ( They were dark blue at the time).
