Q: Can this lock be re-keyed? I need to buy 3 deadbolts to change around the house, but I need them all to fit one key. Can this deadbolt be re-keyed to other Brinks of the same model?

  • A: Yes, all Brinks door locks can be re-keyed to work on the same key. They use a KW1 keyway and they use the same size pins as a Kwikset lock would use. They cannot be matched up with a Schlage or Weiser lock.
