Started on the first pull

The set-up was easy and it started on the first pull. We've used it for a few power outages and it works very well.

very good generator NB Canada

i have used this generator through two extended outages more than 5 days each.
it will run for aprox 14-15 hrs on a load of around 2000 watts.
put the choke full and a quarter pull starts every time.
120 volts pretty flat at the generator plug.
not that noisy same as new snow blower.
i even powered my hot water tank (4000 watts) for three hours to heat the water and no issues.
you wont find better for the price.

A: Briggs & Stratton does not publish decibel numbers, as there is no standard on how to measure them.

Q: How long will it sit between startups. Do you use gas stabilizer?

A: You should always use gas stabilizer. Without stabilized gas, the gas in the generator can become stale in 3-4 weeks, and could result in starting issues.
