Q: What is the maximum distance it extends? I mean the distance between the two attachment sites.

A: Mine extends at least 14 feet. It might be slightly longer but I can't get an accurate measurement because of where I have it mounted. I'm using it over the length of a standard bathtub, it works great for that.

A: Iff the distance isn't too far. The farther it is stretched open, the less strength it has to hold items. You would also have to figure out how to mount it in that space (If it is over tile etc). We have ours mounted in our laundry room and it works great as a clothing rack to dry clothes.

A: 1. Use a 6 mm drill-bit and 2 rawlplugs to attach the hooks. 2. Allow a minimum of 15 mm of space left between the hooks and the wall. 3. Fix the plastic wall bracket by sliding it over the two hooks. 4. You can tighten the lines by pulling out the dial and turning it upwards. If the lines have the proper tension, push the dial again to lock the lines.
