Good 'lightweight' gym...

The PR1000 is well built but takes up a fair bit of room and maxes out at 210 lbs - 105lbs per side!!! Unfortunately, the PR1000 cannot be upgraded!! Please keep that in mind - within a few months you may end up maxing it out like I have and can only use it for a limited number of (lower weight) exercises. I got mine on sale - so the expense is almost break-even, especially if I can sell it and upgrade but important to know that it is very limited in weight capacity! Leg attachment is not the most comfortable to use either. If it could be upgraded, it would definitely deserve a solid 5 stars.

Glad I Waited. Great Machine.

I have been putting off buying this machine a long time and now that i have it, I'm glad did. I don't think I would have appreciated my new gym and wrote it off. But now that I've got it set up and using it, I can see what all the hype is about. Easy to put together and hardly takes up any space even when it's in use. 210 lbs didn't seem like it would be much but I've been using it more as a cardio machine, transitioning quickly between exercises on each set up and the results are noticeable after a couple days. I would recommend using the strap provided to bundle the rods together when not in use. I'm sure it will increase the life of the rods. Great machine that will get a lot of use from myself and my two boys. They are 10 and 11 and this is a safe machine for them.

Fairly easy to assemble - really best with 2 people. Pretty clear manual for exercises. Compact, easy to use. Very convenient to have at home. Already seeing results from the resistance training (been a week).
