It's a fitting that allows you to join one piece of pipe to another along its length as it was designed to do, nothing more, nothing less. Hard to give it more than 3 stars for something very basic. Only real plus is that Canadian Tire is one of the only retailers who sell this particular type of pipe and fittings.

Q: Hello; Is this fitting threaded or is it a socket fit? These sorts of details are more important than the fact that it is "beige" in color....we can see it is "beige"...I cannot see if it is threaded on all or any of the ports to 3/4 inch NPT.

A: This CPVC fittings is a socket fit of ½’’ size all around. It needs to be glue with a specific CPVC glue. The water test needs to be done 24 hrs avec the job is complete. It is a hub X hub X hub TEE.
