This part did the trick!

When attempting to replace a bathroom faucet the plastic connector nut from the downspout to the plumbing under the sink cracked, and so needed to be replaced. This was the right part I just needed the nut part of it, but it saved the day!

Q: Can this product be used to step down a 1-1/4" vanity drain to a 1-1/2" p trap? I don't see diameters for inlet or outlet.
