Garbage QR instructions and no actual mixing ratio

Actual instructions with real measurements should be a given- instead they tell you to add 3” of hardener to a 3” diameter of paste- what the heck? How this is the diameter? How thick is the paste? Where are the instructions if I didn’t scan the QR code? I think I got it to work, but it took trial and error and a simple paragraph provided by the manufacturer could’ve saved me a lot of time and effort. So lazy of Bondo to not even provide the bare minimum, which would be simple instructions on or attached to the packaging. If I ran my business like this I wouldn’t have a business

Q: Why is this product similar to 047-5653 in every aspect of the specifications except that the latter is labelled as a Bondo Stage 2?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. For both products the filler formula is the same. The picture of the Bondo Original formula where it says “stage 3” is for the older packaging which would be replaced by the latest version.

Q: Handling Temperatures At what temperature ranges can we work with this product?

1 Answer

A: The lowest temperature range for using body filler is 7° - 10°C. If using below 19°C, the amount of hardener used should be slightly increased. Body filler can sustain temperatures of up to 82°C of constant heat. Temperatures above 82°C can cause the filler to soften and lose adhesion.
