Q: Can this be put over a fiberglass patch on a canoe to make it appear smoother. I oatched a hole already.

Q: How big is the fiberglass patch included in the kit?? I have a rust hole under my hatch handle, will the end repair be strong enough and hard enough to last. Did anyone have to use glaze putty to finish??
4 years agoA: Hi Jake, thanks for your inquiry. We have a couple of Bondo Kits available. The -261C Bondo Repair Kit comes with a metal reinforcement patch, approx 2x4 in in size. If a larger patch is required (Part Number 932) the patch can be sourced separately (Qty 2 6x6 in per pack). The -420 Bondo Fiberglass Resin Repair Kit contains fiberglass material for patch (Approx 8in sq). The Fiberglass resin kit is a little messier to work with but it does provide a strong repair especially on larger holes. If this kit is used, it will need fine smoothing with Bondo Body Filler and possibly glaze putty to finish it off (to fill fine scratches or pin holes).

Q: Why is this product similar to 047-6505 in every aspect of the specifications except that the latter is labelled as a Bondo Stage 3?
2 years agoA: Thank you for your inquiry. For both products the filler formula is the same. The picture of the Bondo Original formula where it says “stage 3” is for the older packaging which would be replaced by the latest version.

A: Bonjour, malheureusement non, le Bondo ne guérira pas à ces températures. La température minimum pour appliquer le Bondo est 7° C.

Q: I backed up my brand new 2021 Corolla hatchback against an out-of-sight row of concrete blocks. Scratches. Will this kit work to fill the scratches and prevent rust? thnx
4 years agoA: Well it depends on whether the scratches are on plastic or metal. If it's on the metal you might be able to sand them out with water and wwet sandpaper. If they are really deep you'll have to sand the area, put a very light coating of Bondo over the area and smooth it, let it dry, then primer and paint it. If they are on the plastic I'd use fiberglass.

Q: My car is a chevrolet sonic 2013. Can I use this stuff to repair 2 small dents on my door? Also do I need to spray paint those areas with the cars paint suggested?
6 years agoA: Yes, you can use this to fill in your dents on your door. After shaping the body filler after it’s dried you will need to paint over it. You can use Dupli-Color Perfect Match to match the colour of the rest of your car.

Q: RE Bondo products Can any of these Bondo products be used several times or are they all a once only application?
10 years agoA: With the exception of our single-use Bondo body filler (170g), Bondo fillers can be used several times by ensuring you mix the filler and the hardener in small amounts onto a mixing board. Never add the hardener to the filler can.
