Kinda works

I works well, when it works, but like others have said, the phone needs to be precisely on it. I think I'll end up 3D printing a positioning guide, so that my phone doesn't keep bleeping all night as the phone goes on and off charge, when not perfectly positioned. You'll need at least an 18W power adapter, which is much larger than usually comes with a smartphone. The included USB cable wouldn't reach from the outlet, right next to my bedside table, up to the top of the table. I had to use another USB cable.

No, I do not recommend this product.
