Blueair Classic 480i Air Purifier

Works amazingly well. Syncs great with the APP and my WiFi. Give full reports on the air. I cannot complain

This is my second blue air. I have a classic 200 series that has been running 24/7 in my bedroom for about six years. It’s been great in the bedroom because I was always waking up congested. It totally stopped all of that! When I moved to a new house, I had more space and decided to try/add the 480i. On regular speed it does my living room /kitchen area effectively and on a high it basically does the entire square feet of my house within about an hour. I also have two cats who seem to enjoy the expended air. It seems to definitely help with people that come over that claim to have cat allergies. It lets out a good amount of fresh air and is super quiet! If it’s not quiet, there’s probably something defective and you should exchange it while you can. It’s no louder than a fan and very soothing white noise. I turn it down to medium at night (safety reasons I want to be able to hear any strange noises ) and put it at high at least in the morning to do a full house air cleaning. I can sit on the couch with it on high right behind me and it doesn’t bother me at all. I did look at other newer models since my other is six years old, but going strong and knowing the quality and that it’s metal and not plastic made me stick with Blueair. I didn’t like when I went to set up the app that you could read unhighlighted text of everyone in your city that has it set up also, so I have it on Wi-Fi but I don’t have it completely connected because I don’t see why anyone should see anyone’s address? But because it’s not connected fully, I cannot control the fan speed with the app, but I can look at the air quality -not a big deal for me. Now that I’ve had it running for over a month would I buy it again? Absolutely.

Very quiet. Monitors contaminate levels, has auto mode and can be controlled from phone.

This air purifier is sleek and quiet: I like that the air pushes out the sides rather than the top, it’s a great unit and is Wi-Fi enabled so I can control it from my phone

So far, so good. My indoor air quality reading is good-excellent despite outside air quality warnings.
