FineTune your insect trap with this SkeeterVac cartridge. The attractant mimics human breath to lure biting insects right into your SV-35 or SV-15 trap (sold separately). Use it alongside the traps' CO2 and heat to give biting mosquitoes, flies and other pests the irresistible impression there's an inviting human supper to be had. Perfect for helping you spend more time outdoors this season without the nuisance of insect bites.

  • SkeeterVac® Octenol Attractant Cartridge to be used in conjunction with the SkeeterVac® SV-35 (59-3706) and SV-15 (59-3720) models (sold separately)

  • Additional attractant over and above the CO2 and heat the unit produces

  • Mimics human breath and is used in SkeeterVac® traps to attract biting insects

    A product that actually works

    This actually works. We have had our skeetervac for over 15 years. It is wonderful to sit in our backyard mosquito free. Keeps our neighbours mosquito free as well. They are now supporting the purchase of bait annually.

    Q: How long can I expect an Octenol cartridge to last?

    • A: a month in the start of the season but once skeeters are under control it will last about 45 days. In Manitoba we need three to get through the spring & summer

    Q: How do i know when the cartridge is empty ?

    • A: My first indication is that the sticky trap is not as successful during daylight hours. Second, wearing a rubber glove, I lift out and shake the cartridge. If it seems lighter than when I first instslled it, this confirms my first thoughts above. You can also control how quickly it becomes depleted by adjusting the amount of air flowing through the top cap of the Skeeter Vac
