Blue Microphones Snowball ICE Premium USB Microphone

First one survived six years of frequent moving and rough treatment. When it died I bought another, and that's the highest praise I can give a peripheral.

SnowballICE has resolved my issues and works perfectly. I recommend it for those who wanty a basic good microphone.

My mac reads it as an actual mic instead of forcing to use the built-in one, that's the whole reason I got it. It's doing it's job -thumbs up-

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this microphone for a few weeks now and I am very happy with the quality. Since I've only been using for voice calls through Microsoft Teams and Skype, I can't comment on how well it would fair for professional voice recording or Vlogging. As a freelancer who works from a home office, I am often on a call with clients several times a day. The sound that comes from a laptop/desktop microphone is less than desired and I grew tired of having to have a headset plugged in. I am happy to say that this microphone fixes those issues. It has made a massive difference to the quality of the call and I can move around more freely than I could with a headset. For the absolute best sound quality, you have to be quite close to the microphone, which is something I can see being an issue for more professional use cases. However, as I use it mainly for calls, I'm able to be further away and still benefit from the greatly improved sound quality. Overall, I am very happy with the microphone and it completely delivers in terms of what I was looking for.
