Makes toast like they used to!

I was looking to buy a hi end toaster, but tried this one due to the two reviews above. This one actually makes toast the way all toasters did years ago. They could all make perfect toast. It seems that none of them can anymore. Great toaster. Great purchase. Great price.

Tanné de mon vieux grille-pain qui n'avait que deux modes; pas grillé ou calciné..., je me cherchait un grille-pain plus fiable et qui apporterait une touche de renouveau sur le comptoir de la cuisine. Ce grille-pain répond à toutes mes attentes et même plus !

After being so disappointed with the Sunbeam "designer" toaster, we bought this one. This is a toaster worth buying. Black and Decker has found quality again. Had it almost a year. It looks great and works great. It works perfectly and looks sleek on the counter. It toasts evenly golden toast on the first try top to bottom. Then it pops it up. The cord is long enough to reach the plug.The brushed chrome exterior doesn't show smudges and it wipes clean to a soft sheen. It stays cool outside and it feels well made. Very happy with this toaster. You wouldn't think this is important but having your toast ready just the way you want it is a nice thing in the morning. We bought this on sale for not much more than we paid for the garbage Sunbeam toaster at full price. I would pay a bit more again to get this kind of quality, it's well worth it.

Enfin un grille pain qui remplace parfaitement mon vieux grille pain à une seule longue fente qui était rendu au bout de son rouleau après plus de 22 ans de loyaux services! Je n’espérais plus en trouver un ayant ce genre de concept à une seule fente au lieu des énormes Grille pain à double fente! Il excelle pour dorer adéquatement les demi-baguettes et les fameux bagels,
Son format est idéal placé le long du mur et il n’émet pas de sonnerie lorsque le pain est grillé! Silencieux, solide, et très beau. Bon achat.
