Black & Decker 750W Grey Personal Blender with Dual 20-oz Jars

Ne pas acheter, Je l’ai choisi à cause de sa puissance, car dans la description il était indiqué 750 watts, alors qu’en réalité il ne fait que 300 watts. Je l’ai commandé en pensant que le prix était très avantageux par rapport à d’autres mixeurs de la même puissance, mais ce n’était pas vrai. J’ai dû me donner la peine d’aller le récupérer au magasin, et il ne correspondait pas à mes attentes. Quand j’ai demandé où je pouvais faire une réclamation, on m’a répondu qu’il n’était pas possible de le faire au magasin.

I bought this blender because it had a lot of reviews with positive, realistic information, several of which mentioned it's ability to perform well when making frozen drinks using ice or frozen fruits. Sadly, that was not my experience. The 2nd time I used the blender I was making a smoothie that was mostly almond milk and coconut cream with a few chunks of frozen pineapple. The blender started of fine and after pulsing the ice crush several times I switched to blend but then it seemed to slow down. I shut it off and used a spatula to make sure nothing was clogging up the area near the blades. When I tried the ice crush button again it was ok the first couple of times but smelled weird. I stirred with the spatula again then tried blend. That's when the smoke started rolling out of the base! I unplugged the thing and escorted it to the backyard for a time out. While it was thinking about what it did and reconsidering it's life choices, I searched for my receipt and eventually ended up here, writing this, hoping to save the next frozen drink loving shopper from a house fire, or at the least, a disappointing, frosty drink...

Just purchased this ice crush blender last Wednesday & NO instructions/manual were in the box. Called (first time), couldn't get the manual without an e-mail address (I don't have one) Asked daughter to help because she has an e-mail address. She called (second time) & lady at Black and Decker said sure she would e-mail that over to her, never received anything... Went online to Black & Decker website & can not find a printable manual. Thought we needed to register to get manual. That doesn't work either. Called again on Monday morning (third time & a waste of time) (30 minutes on the phone total & about 2+ hours online looking for manual/instruction) third time I called the company... they say they don't have this manual in their system (what??) & for me to get it online. I said I already did that but I will try it again. I went exactly where she told me to go to acquire the manual online & NO manual again to be found for my ice blender....I even registered my blender & made a new account in their system to see if that would work to get manual & nope. In total, myself & daughter wasted about 5 hours of our time on this when it should have taken 10 minutes. Also can't take back blender because I just happen to have receipt in my hand & it was very windy & blew right out of my hand & couldn't catch it. So now stuck with this blender & can't use. I'm 80 years old & not going to use a brand new appliance without reading manual/instructions first. So no crushed ice for me.... Thanks..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i’ve used this to make smoothies, to blend cheese, and of course i made the best frappes! the secret to the best frappes is xanthan gum to emulsify. the ultra sharp points on the blade point downwards, making this one of the safest single serve blenders i’ve ever seen.
