Model more costly, as it requires more string.

Not very happy with the updated 6.5A. This one requires more string and it goes through more string than the 5.5A model. This 2 in 1 model was the best one until you made changes. I will research to find a different brand because I am not happy with the Black and Decker models.

Had one that was working for a couple of years and when I needed parts to fix, black and decker offered to send replacement instead. Replacement lasted only 3 times usage and when I called back was told replacement is not under warranty and there was nothing they can do. Replacements are junk they give away to make them look good.

Spool eater

Goes through spool like crazy. Runs fine but i go through 1 spool in about 10 minutes run or maybe less. I had a battery powered black and decker and that was not powerful enough, so I got this one. Sadly, I have to go back to my battery powered one because I ran out of all my spools in one cleaning.
I thought I was doing something wrong, spent hours on google to see what I am doing wrong, but turns out that it is a common issue with this model. I even wet my strings per 'google' but that did not make much difference either.
No, I do not recommend this product.
