Blender didn't blend well

The first thing I tried was 2 cups of cottage cheese and 1 packet of Ranch dressing and it lagged and couldn't do it. I added milk until it started blending and then the dip was far too runny. I didn't notice a lot of difference between the speeds. I was disappointed and returned the blender.

Broke within a month, and the exchanged one at 2nd use

I purchased this blender in October. By late November, it was broken and releasing a nasty burnt plastic smell. I exchanged in December, and it broke again, this time at the 2nd use. only used it for making my baby's purèes and compote. Do Not recommend. this model used to be good, not anymore

Avoid Black and Decker

The gasket has broken and the blade part is fused into the container. We had for two years. Buy if you're ok with poor quality and replacing what should last for a decade at least. This is the second Black and Decker product we bought which barely lasted.

A: Just buy a new one, it is on special now and its price is fantastic. Any way, even if you buy another one for $20 (I bought for $28 also BL2010BGC with 550 watts of cyclonic power) every 6 months, you may save a lot of money compare to Vitamix (about $700 and 5 year of warranty).

Q: Is there a grinder that fits this blender? Does Black and Decker has a grinder that can fit on this blender?

Q: Is the glass jar supposed to be loose in the mount? It moves about a millimeter instead of being locked into place like the previous two B&D blenders I have owned. I just bought it and I'm leery about using it.
