Switch models if you can afford to

Purchased and returned the same day. I purchased this for the glass body however the motor sounds like a 10 yr old machine on its last legs. The lid is thin and doesn't properly fit, you must force it on bending the plastic to get it on the glass top. If you can afford it, upgrade a bit to a better competitor.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Just buy a new one, it is on special now and its price is fantastic. Any way, even if you buy another one for $20 (I bought for $28 also BL2010BGC with 550 watts of cyclonic power) every 6 months, you may save a lot of money compare to Vitamix (about $700 and 5 year of warranty).

Q: Is there a grinder that fits this blender? Does Black and Decker has a grinder that can fit on this blender?

Q: Is the glass jar supposed to be loose in the mount? It moves about a millimeter instead of being locked into place like the previous two B&D blenders I have owned. I just bought it and I'm leery about using it.
