It was good while it lasted

I bought this about a year ago. It was great at first. Very quickly though it started overheating and would shut itself off. I could get through that - go and do something else while it cooled down, but now I can't even get through a 10x16 room without it overheating. Also the belt broke and cannot get a replacement belt

Short lived

I bought two of these and neither lasted long. It worked well while it lasted but in both cases the suction head had elements thereof breaking after a few months of use. And I was unsuccessful in trying to find replacement parts. Unless Bissell comes up with a more reliable construction of this component (also referred to on their website as the "Powerfoot"), I would not again buy this item, neither recommend it to anyone.

Worst Vacuum Ever

Bissell customer service is just as bad which is unfortunate as we have another Bissell carpet cleaner we are very happy with. This vacuum lost all suction after about 2 months of use and customer service just keeps telling me that its plugged somewhere. Well its not plugged, just a poor product. Wont even clean up loose dirt and dust off the hardwood. Steer clear of this one!

Garbage!!!

Practically NO suction what-so-ever. Using it as hand vacuum produces almost no results. Using it as a hand vacuum with the extension wand attached garners the same results. Only time it ever picks anything up is when the 'power foot' is attached and it is being used on a carpet. If you have hardwood or tiled floors FORGET about it, might as well buy a $1 broom at the dollar store instead. If suction were rated on a scale of 1-10 this would be rated a 1.
