A: This carpet cleaner works great on stains. I use the bissel products for cleaning. For extra cleaning spray vinegar mixed with water. 3:1 ( W:V )

Q: How does this compare to the Pet Pro Compact and Powerclean TurboBrush? All of them are at a similar price point. My needs would be the most powerful cleaner, regardless of tank size or heating (I can make several trips to empty, or boil water myself)

A: Hello, this is a powerful carpet cleaner. Very useful for pets & thicker carpets. It does not require hot water, use warm water. The Bissel is good quality & the products offered for cleaning are very good.

Q: Does this model turn the beater brush off while using the hand tool so that the floor carpet where it is sitting doesn’t get excessive wear while using hand tool?

A: Yes it does. You just need to turn the power to the handheld device and the main vacuum brushes stop.

A: Usually within a 24hr period the carpet is dried as long as you have soaked up the excess.

A: Hot water and yes a concentrated chemical cleaner. However I do use it with just hot water for light cleaning as well and it works fine.

A: Hi Helene - this model doesn't heat the water. You put clean warm water in the clean tank before using the cleaner.

A: The BISSELL StainPro 43-8133 is a carpet and upholstery cleaner and would be ideal for apartment use. It is designed to scrub and lift the dirt and stains your vacuum can’t get from carpet… then powerful suction lifts it away. The Hose and tool are for upholstery and spot cleaning. This item is not used for dust removal or hard surfaces.
