      Positive experience

I bought this on clearance price and it’s been a big game changer. It does a fairly good job at cleaning the floors and scrubbing, I like that you can set it up on a schedule basis. I have it set to 2am, it’s just quiet enough that I cant hear it. Waking up every morning to a clean floor.

      Careful. Low reliability, rushed product.

had my 10+ year old half dead 1605c robot vac from Bissel replaced with this 2859C. I'm shocked, that with the same front IR sensor, an added gyroscope for nav, and 10 more years to develop the firmware and being twice the price, this has worse navigation than my 10 year old 1605c model. That one was half dead with a broken out brush roll and only barely cleaned anymore, but I just set it to vac every night and it did that and returned to dock, it still made a difference. This one I can't do that. With the mop attachment, it'll fail and get stuck on something and start beeping loudly at night 70% of the time. Something silly, like a cat scratching post's square base against a plain wall, it'll keep turning left into the wall and just give up and beep at me at night, instead of simply turning back. Or keep backing into something. Or if there's an edge (like a table) on two sides of something, it'll keep going back and forth in that line rather than adjusting out of it. Even in vac only mode, it'll probably fail to return to the dock 40% of the time, so I can't just set up a nightly routine. When it works, the floor is nice and shiny with the cleaning solution. But even with a very simple layout and cleaning most obvious obstacles, this is just failing way too much. Even just on my oven standing mat. My 10 year old model at half the price just blitzing through everything and returning to dock 99% of the time was honestly better nav than this. On top of all this, the reason I got a "R" unit back was the "C" unit I had had the front left brush roll motor stop, which apparently makes the entire robot non functional, just like errors on the front wheel sensor, they designed it so if one part is flaky the whole unit shuts down instead of just tanking on like the old 1605c. I wonder if this is a white label factory product, because it seems very rushed and like it's not getting improvements with firmware either.

No, I do not recommend this product.

      Just bought a second one!!

Not sure what all of the bad reviews are about. I purchased my first one several months ago for my tiled floor. This thing works great! Does almost my entire 1985 sqft home on one charge. Is very good a cleaning and picks up the stray kitty litter as well. I love that is vacuums under the bed. With kitties around, under the bed is an important place! I ended up buying a second one because I love it so much!!

      Yes, I recommend this product.

I like it. I have only used the wet cleaning cycle, but my floors are now gleaming.

      • A: Probably. If it doesn't get stuck repeating the same area of floor for the entire battery, or get stuck on something because the spin brushes are too high and get caught on olmost every area rug we have.
